The 2022 Chevy Corvette C8 Stingray is among the most loved vehicles due to its stunning design and mind-blowing performance. The model provides a wonderful experience on both the road and the track, but some of our customers have inquired about the Corvette Stingray R. Will the 2022 Corvette C8 provide a similar experience?
2022 Chevy Corvette C8 Stingray does not come in a special "R" edition. In addition to offering a Stingray R package for the 2022 Corvette, Chevrolet also offers a package that adds several R-related appearance elements to the 2022 Corvette; however, these elements do not boost performance, change, or optimize the vehicle. The Stingray uses a V-8 engine.
What comes on the R package for the 2022 Chevy Corvette Stingray?
The Stingray R package, available on the Chevy website, is available for the 2022 Chevy Corvette Stingray. Adding this package to one's vehicle is $695.
Black tone-on-tone hood stripe with Jake logo and Corvette racing script. Stingray R graphics are embroidered on both sides. There will also be logos on the wheel center caps with Stingray R designations for the 2022 model. In addition, the Stingray R package will include Corvette Racing's Jake mascot on the hood and Stingray R graphics on the rear of the optional side rockers (although other models have been spotted with these graphics in different locations as well). This vehicle looks a lot like a Corvette C8 R racecar in the end.

Chevrolet has added a number of new standard features for 2022. These include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new digital gauge display options, and Buckle-to-Drive, which prevents the automatic transmission from shifting out of park until the driver buckles their seatbelt. There is now a standalone option for magnetic dampers on any Corvette or C7 Corvette Z06; before now, they were exclusive to the Z51 performance package. There is now a brand new Full-Length Dual Racing Stripe package, which features stripes in blue, orange, red, or yellow. The options sheet has also been updated to include a gray-and-yellow interior color scheme.
